Fun fact: I dream in Vectors. Literally. I dream in Illustrator. More than once I’ve had dreams where I obsessively center align objects to the artboard. I’m a hoot!
Born in 1990, legend has it my first words were ‘draw, draw, draw’. After graduating with my BA(Hons) in Graphic Design from Leeds Arts University in 2012, I started my career in advertising at Ogilvy Paris. After a 2 year stint finding my feet in the industry, I moved to New York and developed previously overlooked aspects of my practice including: collaborative work, client interaction, ideation and creative concepting. Having been in New York for 8 years now, I consider myself established as a designer in the truest, most graphic sense of the title. I lead with typography, support with strong color and always ensure the pixels are perfect for the cleanest form of communication.
During my 10 year advertising career I have had the honor of working on many projects, none as important and impactful as ‘Type with Pride’, a pro-bono initiative that won prestigious awards including: D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Clios, and many more.
